Our story began with work on site. It grew through the projects we took on, the relationships we built and the trust customers placed in us.
Today, a new generation is shaping the next chapter—with the same responsibility towards our work, our people and everyone who chooses IBS ElSherbiny.
1984
Eng. Hesham ElSherbiny founded ElSherbiny & Co., building on practical experience in suspended ceiling installation. Working on site established the technical knowledge and understanding of customers’ needs that would guide the business as it grew.
1996
Interior Building System — IBS was established as a sister company, specialising in the supply and installation of interior construction materials. It became a foundation for developing our expertise in flooring and suspended ceilings.
OUR EXPERIENCE
Over the decades, ElSherbiny & Co. and IBS have built experience across the many systems that bring a space together—from flooring and ceilings to partitions, doors and specialised finishing applications.
Relationships with international manufacturers helped develop that knowledge. Projects across public institutions, healthcare, education, airports, energy and hospitality put it into practice.
This breadth gives us a wider understanding of a project: how materials work together, what different spaces require and where careful decisions make a lasting difference.

A NEW GENERATION
A new generation brought fresh momentum to IBS ElSherbiny. With Mr. Mohamed ElSherbiny joining the business, we began renewing the company and expanding our offering, building on the experience already behind our name.
Introducing SPC flooring marked an early milestone in this chapter, opening more possibilities for the homes and projects we serve.
